Although our jewelry is inspired by our ocean it is not recommended by the harshness of the salt content of the sea. If you do, it is recommended that you rinse it every time it is worn in fresh or salt water.
Over time it may tarnish. Some peoples body chemistry reacts different with sterling. We do offer “Sunshine Cloths” which work very well on our .925 sterling silver. Just wipe it and it will look like new.
Yes, quite often people do order a wrong size chain. Just return it in “like new” condition and we can swap it for another size. Please note that Omega chains can kink or bend if not packaged correctly. If a chain comes back damaged and we cannot offer a replacement. If damaged, we can offer you another chain at a reduced price.
Both are finished with a protective coating that will last if cared for properly. It is a clear acrylic lacquer sprayed on during the finishing process. Avoid cleaning it with any harsh chemicals or wearing it in water. If it starts to become dull after time you can periodically use clear acrylic spray as well.
For the same reasons listed above, some people’s chemicals can affect the bronze metal. Most of the time if this happens you can use an old toothbrush and some mild dish soap to remove the oxidation. Then to keep it lasting longer re apply a clear acrylic spray to both sides.
